Pančevo schools awarded for environmental projects

Three schools from Pančevo were awarded for the best environmental projects: „Aksentije Maksimović" primary school, „Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" primary school and the „Uroš Predić" grammar school.

The competition was organised by Rotary Serbia, RC Bern Christoffel and the Cesarov foundation, and the schools took part under the mentorship of Rotary Club „Pančevo – Mihajlo Pupin".

The mentoring was the heart of this project. Schools have ideas and children willing to work; what they usually lack is someone to help shape an idea into a proposal that can win.
