Computers for the school in Banatski Brestovac
25 October 2018
The primary school in Banatski Brestovac received a fully equipped computer classroom, as part of a wider project by Rotary District 2483.
The handover was attended by Vladimir Matić, District Governor, together with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development — head of the school administration Snežana Oluški Vlačić and Miloš Blagojević.
A project larger than one classroom
The aim was to equip as many computer classrooms as possible in primary schools across Serbia, with emphasis on schools in smaller towns and villages — where the difference between having equipment and not having it is greatest.
The project was agreed with the Ministry of Education a year earlier. 52 clubs from Serbia and abroad joined the fundraising, collecting more than 153,000 dollars.
