Donation to the Pančevo Gerontology Centre

With the help of the Looten family, our club provided 60 reusable protective medical suits and a germicidal lamp for sterilisation and disinfection, for the Gerontology Centre in Pančevo.

During the pandemic, care homes for the elderly were among the most exposed institutions — both in the risk to residents and in the strain on staff. The equipment was intended for exactly that: protecting the health of both.

The help did not end with the donation

Club members went on volunteering to obtain medicines and small necessities for the residents. Our youth club, Rotaract Pančevo – Mihajlo Pupin, joined the effort as volunteers.
