„Give blood — score a life!“

„Give blood — score a life!“ is a voluntary blood donation drive organised by the Blood Transfusion Institute and the Association of Sports Clubs of Pančevo. Our club is a regular co-organiser.
The drive is held twice a year and is one of the club's standing commitments — not an event arranged when there happens to be time, but a date fixed in advance.
Why it repeats
Blood cannot be manufactured, nor stored for long. Supplies are used every day and are replenished only when someone comes in and gives. That is why drives like this make sense only if they recur — a one-off tops up the supply for a few days.
The partnership with sports clubs is no accident: their members are mostly young and healthy people, and the name of the campaign says the rest.
